Late 16th C Greenwich armor made by Robert MacPherson, with additional pieces by Jeff Wasson, decoration and assembly by Chris Gilman. This is nearly an exact copy of a 1587 Greenwich armour that is in the Wallace Collection (London) and another armour in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (NYC). All hand formed 1050 spring steel, which has been heat treated polished, then heat blued, with 24 k gold plated etching. The armour worn here weighs 21.82kg / 48.1lbs each.
