12 years of chasing my wife with a lobster (2025 Update)

And here’s a look at the happy side of our 2025 Lobster Day! https://imgur.com/a/tkVLYlr Our yearly “Lobster Day” tradition started on a whim when we decided to go out and buy live lobster for the first time. It was fun, a little scary, and lot more work than we had anticipated so we didn’t have it ready until very late into the night. It was also the first time either of us had ever tasted lobster... It was so delicious that we said “we should do this every year” and we have. There was nothing special about March 28th other than that’s when we started the tradition, but we’ve found that it’s the perfect time of year to have a mini celebration and at-home date night. It’s something to look forward to each year at the tail end of cold weather, the start of longer days, and the early signs of spring. Scaring my wife with the lobster has sort of evolved into a tradition of its own. At first, I started making the compilation for my own fun. I first posted to Reddit and Youtube in 2019 and have shared the updates with you all ever since. We've had a lot of laughs from all your comments and it's really added to the fun for us. When we got to 10 years, I proposed an end to the chase part of the tradition, but my wife and son quickly shot that suggestion down. The tradition goes on and it gets harder and harder every year to catch her when she’s not expecting it!
